ABOUT RABBI COOPER
I recently concluded a 36-year career in the rabbinate. As a rabbi, I helped hundreds of people who came to me to share their problems, including difficult marriages, trouble between parents and children, the challenge of caring for elderly parents, and dealing with the death of a family member or friend. I found this aspect of my work to be the most fulfilling and rewarding of all the tasks a rabbi is asked to do. Now that I’ve moved on from the rabbinate, I’m ready and eager to coach people who want to solve life’s problems.
My coaching approach is not religious in nature, nor do I bring religious teachings into coaching conversations. Rather, my coaching style is based on years of experience listening to people’s stories and helping them to solve problems.
I am a husband (married 35 years), the father of five sons, and a grandfather to three boys. Through my work and personal life, I believe I’ve gained the wisdom, insight, and experience to help you when life feels overwhelming.
In addition to my life experience and work as a rabbi, I am trained as a Life Coach by CTI (Co-Active Training Institute) and CRR Global.
I devote 100% of myself to every client. I listen attentively and am not judgmental. I strive to learn and understand your story as a prerequisite to helping you. When we are in a coaching conversation, you are the most important person to me and the exclusive focus of my attention.
